PR ACCOUNT MANAGER - FILM, BROADCAST, MEDIA TECHNOLOGY, SPORTS + AV CLIENTS
A global full-service boutique agency in London is seeking a PR Account Manager to work on a range of clients operating in the media and entertainment industry, including film, broadcast, media technology, sports, and AV sectors.
Key responsibilities of the Account Manager include efficient account management, leading media sell-ins, achieving coverage targets, maintaining media relationships, and being responsive to clients. Responsibilities involve developing and delivering campaign plans against client KPIs, managing client reporting, proactive media planning, writing and proofreading, identifying speaking and awards opportunities, team brainstorms, being the main client contact, building media and influencer relationships, news hijacking opportunities, supporting new business pitches and upselling, and managing junior team members. The role also involves traveling to international trade shows and events (about 5 times a year).
The ideal candidate should have:
2-4 years of PR experience with successful campaign implementation.
An understanding of B2B and B2C PR, the media landscape, and a passion for technology and business.
Excellent media relations skills and a passion for pitching.
Strong time management, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in new business pitching.
A driven and ambitious attitude.
Willingness to travel and work at trade shows.
Proficiency in social media and with tools like Canva, Hootsuite, Microsoft Office, and Google Drive.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
The agency offers a competitive salary (£37,000 - £41,000) and benefits package, including a bonus, holiday allowance, hybrid working (2 days in the Central London office), and training opportunities.
