PR ACCOUNT MANAGER - HOSPITALITY / RESTAURANTS

An independent PR agency specialising in restaurants, pubs, bars, hotels, food & drink and lifestyle is searching for an Account Manager to join its team.

The successful candidate will work with a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from fine dining to premium casual restaurants and bars, as well as hotels. They will be responsible for supporting the Account Director and will be involved in activities such as press release writing, influencer and press outreach, and event organisation.

This individual should possess a minimum of two years’ agency experience in hospitality PR. A strong work ethic and passion for the industry are essential too!

The role will cover:

  • Manage client relationships, calendars and meetings.

  • Pitch top-tier media and secure stories aligned with expectations.

  • Handle media management from story idea to publication.

  • Oversee writing and content, ensuring materials align with both client and media preferences and meet quality and creative standards.

  • Undertake influencer outreach for reviews and event attendance, focusing on the most reputable influencers across travel, lifestyle, food and drink.

  • Stay abreast of developments in the media and meet with the media.

  • Create campaigns and calendars for clients.

  • Attend client meetings and events.

  • Manage and mentor junior team members, ensuring KPIs are met.

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.

  • Strong writing skills and a creative approach are necessary.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.

  • Make and establish good media contacts and convert to coverage.
